Smith Farm Gardens Wedding | Alexxis and Zach

Alexxis and Zach’s September wedding at Smith Farm Gardens in East Haddam was one of those days that felt like pure magic from beginning to end.

Alexxis, an event coordinator herself, knew exactly how to plan a meaningful and seamless day—every detail was thoughtful and personal. Her mom did her hair that morning, and as guests began to arrive, Zach’s dad warmly greeted everyone, setting the tone for the whole day.

Before seeing Zach, Alexxis shared a sweet first look with her bridesmaids which got everyone all teary eyed. Then came her first look with Zach, which was just as emotional and special.

Their ceremony was officiated by a close family friend, making it even more heartfelt. You could feel how much love surrounded these two.

Guests enjoyed cocktail hour in the sunken garden with a live musician setting the vibe and some absolutely amazing appetizers being passed around. Meghan from The Wedding Concierge was the incredible day-of coordinator who helped bring all the beautiful details together—she even made sure Alexxis and Zach got a private peek at their stunning reception space before everyone else saw it.

The reception that followed was filled with laughter, dancing, and so many joyful moments. One of the biggest hits of the night? An ice cream truck for dessert! It was such a fun (and delicious) surprise to end the evening.
