There’s a sweet spot in New Haven each Spring when the cherry blossoms around Yale University explode into bloom, and Jenni planned their engagement session to land right in the middle of it. The timing couldn’t have been more perfect.
We wandered through the historic Yale campus with soft pink petals swirling around us, getting to know each other between shots. Jenni and AJ have a kind of chemistry that makes photographing them effortless. Whether they were tucked into a quiet corner of the library courtyard or strolling hand in hand beneath the cherry blossoms, they brought such an easy joy to the session.
One of my favorite things about engagement shoots is that it gives us time to connect before the wedding day, and spending the evening with these two made me so excited for what’s to come.
Next year, they’ll be saying “I do” at The Candlewood Inn, a gorgeous waterfront venue in Brookfield, CT. If their engagement session is any preview of what’s ahead, I know their wedding will be full of so many unforgettable moments.
