Marianna and David’s engagement session at Harkness Memorial State Park was one of those laid-back, easygoing afternoons that just felt right from the start. It was a crisp Fall day, with that perfect golden light and just enough breeze coming off the water. We wandered between the beach and the gardens surrounding Eolia Mansion, taking our time and chatting about their wedding plans.
These two have such great energy together, playful, relaxed, and completely at ease. They were laughing, teasing each other, and just enjoying the moment. It made for so many candid shots that really captured their connection.
They’re planning a wedding at The Goodwin Hotel in Hartford later this year, and after spending the afternoon with them, I can tell it’s going to be a celebration that truly reflects who they are: cool, down-to-earth, and with plenty of time on the dance floor with their best friends.
